Watch this car roll over a police car to escape arrest

The Hyundai Sonata is perhaps the hood’s most elite car. If you don’t think so, watch this car roll over a police car to escape!

As originally reported by the New York Daily News, a parked car was pulled over by police Wednesday night in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The cops apparently smelled weed and the car was parked in a no-go area, which likely proved them right. The driver exited and can be seen standing in the video. His passenger jumps to the passenger side and that’s where the action begins!

You can watch the video of the car ride above a police car below, which was filmed on a cell phone by locals and posted on social media.

Initially, it looks like the cop is using his taser to try and stop the man driving away, but that doesn’t stop him. It looks like the escape won’t work because the car is stranded and stuck in a parking spot, but he’s somehow able to drive the vehicle over the bumper and hood of police cars, and he manages to escape !!! Who knew a Hyundai Sonata had these capabilities?

For now, the suspect is still at large. The driver was charged with unrelated charges of possession of counterfeit credit cards and possession of an ATM skimmer.

The main image is of a 2021 Hyundai Sonata. The year of the car in the video has not been confirmed.
