This article contains spoilers for She-Hulk episode 8
It’s been a long and painful wait, but Matt Murdock/Charlie Cox’s Daredevil has finally arrived She-Hulk: Lawyer. As if to hang a shade on the anticipation, Murdock entered the show with a coy apology for being late. But, after this excellent and hilarious episode, we are more than ready to forgive.
The episode – ‘Ribbit and Rip It’ – saw Murdock and Jennifer Walters face off in court over a faulty superhero costume and later get to know each other over drinks. Both felt a spark, though the pair really clicked after destroying a warehouse full of goons/goons. One thing led to another and… well, let’s just say we didn’t have Daredevil doing the ‘walk of shame’ on our She-Hulk bingo card.
The reaction on social media has been nothing short of ecstatic.
This superhero team can’t stop there:
We also like the daredevil the theme returns:
Yes, he definitely does for us too Jen:
He still has it!
Should every episode have been like this?
We’ve all been there Matt:
We agree with every word of this:
This sums it all up:
We’re very happy to see Jen finally reunite with someone who loves her in and out of Hulk form, though the episode ends on a shocking and sad cliffhanger. Next week’s finale won’t just deal with She-Hulk’s public humiliation by Intelligencia, but also her mini-rant that left her family and co-workers fleeing in terror and held her at gunpoint. firearm by Damage Control agents (who appeared suspiciously quickly…).
We’re praying that Murdock hasn’t caught his flight back to New York and will be there for another superhero squad next week, because these two work together so well it hurts.
