‘Revenge’ Star BJ Novak Visits Texas, Buc-ee’s

A trip to texas wouldn’t be complete without stops at the Alamo and Buc-ee’s and BJ Novak, who stars in the new film Revenge (his directorial debut) made sure to pin these visits to the itinerary when he was in the state to promote the new film.

Novak, who previously starred and spent time writing for the hit NBC series Officeplays Ben Manalowitz in the film about a New Yorker traveling across the country to West Texas to investigate the death of a woman he was dating.

The actor spent some of his time at the Alamo Drafthouse and events hosted by Santikos for the film, but he also got to take a look around town, heading straight for downtown San Antonio. to see the sights, including a Hard Rock Cafe?

Novak posted a photo carousel that includes a mandatory selfie in front of the Alamo, a photo of the entrance to a Buc-ee, and the Hard Rock Cafe sign.

“I had an amazing visit to the @officialalamo. The Alamo’s official Instagram responded to the post, thanking Boston-area Novak for dropping by.

Novak’s new film will be released next week, Thursday, July 28. Several theaters in San Antonio have showings that night starting at 7 p.m.
