Here we have a Tata Safari and a Mahindra XUV700, deliberately crashed into each other. Don’t worry, it’s just a game! Cars are just mods created in the popular game Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA5) available on the most popular platforms. The audio commentary is all serious, but it’s just a funny imitation of a serious automotive vlog. While having fun.
The way the cars behave in the game has nothing to do with reality. It is almost impossible and can be difficult to simulate even for a supercomputer.
Tata and Mahindra are among the Indian automakers who strive to improve build quality and make cars that are safe for customers. These two manufacturers have a variety of products in their portfolio. Tata launched its seven-seater Safari SUV on the market earlier this year, while Mahindra is set to launch the XUV700 in the same segment next month. Here we have a video clip from GTA 5 where digitally rendered Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari SUV crash into each other.
The video was shared by G5 players on their YouTube channel. It should be noted that these two cars seen in the video are not real and are generated using infographics. These vehicles can be added to the game using mods or packs available online. Although Tata is known to make cars that are safe, they didn’t send Safari or Harrier to the Global NCAP test. Mahindra hasn’t mentioned anything about the crash test yet.
In this video, players attempt to show a Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700 crashing into each other. In this video, one of the players drives the Tata Safari to the end of an airstrip where he plans to do the crash test. The XUV700 is parked at the other end of the runway. Before starting, the player manages to overturn the Safari and he had to find another Safari for the crash.
It should be noted that Safari is actually a front wheel drive SUV but in this game it is presented as a rear wheel drive SUV. The two SUVs start to come close and they both come closer at decent speeds. Somewhere in the middle of the airstrip, Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700 collide. The game managed to show Tata Safari’s bumper flying off along with the grille. Mahindra XUV700 also had a significant dent on the front bumper. Parts of the grille and one of the headlights were damaged in the crash.
The vlogger mentions that aside from the bumps in the front of the two SUVs, not much has happened to the car. Tata Safari also managed to break the front windshield at the time of the accident. One thing to note here is that the developer has done justice to the original design of both SUVs. He paid attention to the details on both SUVs and that’s what makes it more realistic.
It’s just a game and the vlogger just did it for fun. In the video, both SUVs look very well built with only minor damage. We hope Tata and Mahindra send these SUVs to the Global NCAP crash test in the future to see how safe these cars really are. We urge you not to engage in such activities in real life as they are dangerous. Mahindra XUV700 is available with gasoline and diesel engine options where both are offered with manual and automatic transmission options. Tata Safari on the other hand comes with a diesel engine which gets a manual and automatic option.
