Known for its iconic magical holiday events and activities for winter resort guests and locals alike, A Country Christmas at Gaylord Opryland is guaranteed to bring joyful holiday joy with an abundance of imaginative, interactive experiences , vacation-themed activities and exciting live entertainment designed for guests of all ages.
Visitors will be further immersed in the resort’s Christmas display case with over three million sparkling Christmas lights in addition to dazzling fountains and light shows, towering Christmas trees and dazzling backdrop.
A whole new original Gaylord Hotels experience: Mission: Save Christmas with Elf ™
Representing this season’s flagship lineup, Gaylord Opryland needs guests of all ages to help save Christmas! In this collaboration with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, guests will join Buddy the Elf and answer Santa’s call to help gather enough Christmas cheer to power the Kringle 3000 and help Santa’s sleigh fly.
Guests will travel to Buddy’s world to help save the holidays in a multi-sensory experience full of fun and interactive challenges perfect for all ages: team up with Mr. Narwhal and his friends in the sugar cane forest, keep a length Ahead of the toy quota at the North Pole, prepare for Santa’s arrival at the iconic department store and take part in an epic virtual snowball fight in Central Park. These are just a few of the more than 12 interactive elements to discover in this unique experience.
To add to the enormous amount of holiday excitement, Gaylord Opryland once again welcomes award-winning members to the GRAMMY®, Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry, The Oak Ridge Boys, for a 31-performance residency. Keeping the musical tradition alive, the ‘Christmas in Tennessee’ Dinner Show will feature a delicious holiday meal prepared by the resort’s culinary team, followed by the Oaks and their band performing Christmas classics, new favorites and timeless hits. who shaped their legendary careers.
Adventure activities await you in Pinetop, an open-air village resembling the Appalachians. Commitment to clean-up and access restrictions to the resort
As the safety of its guests and STARS (employees) is of paramount importance, the Christmas at Gaylord Hotels program has been developed in accordance with Marriott’s Commitment to Clean program and with enhanced cleaning protocols. The programming will also operate taking into account the latest local, state and federal legislation.
To ensure capacity management, starting at 2:00 p.m. CT every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from November 26, 2021 to January 2, 2022, access to enter the hotel will be available only to registered overnight guests and event ticket holders who have booked.
Access to the Gaylord Opryland Events Center and the Pinetop area will only be available to ticket holders who have booked for events located in these areas and to guests registered for the night. Access to the complex will not be restricted from Monday to Thursday at this time; however, additional restrictions may apply without notice.
