The EDINBURGH Christmas market is back this year with punters flocking to the capital’s beloved festive tradition.
Shoppers enjoyed the treats and alcoholic beverages on offer at the New Town attraction.
This is the first time in two years that Edinburgh’s markets have been opened – after being shut down due to Covid last winter.
And the inhabitants wanted to take full advantage of the return of the festivities to normal a few weeks before Christmas.
Many stalls serve hot drinks for cold nights with mulled wine and cider on the menu.
And we’ve got you covered with a market drink price breakdown.
Bettors can enjoy a cup of mulled wine or a variety of hot ciders for £ 6.
Hot chocolate with full works of cream and marshmallows is also on the menu for around £ 4 – or you can upgrade to a rich and indulgent salted caramel hot chocolate for £ 6.
For £ 7, a hot fruity toddy is up for grabs, which includes Highland Park Whiskey which has been given a festive makeover with flavors of apple, honey and spicy orange.
Party goers can also enjoy half a pint of German beer for £ 4.
For the sweet tooth, churros and fresh donuts are offered at various food stalls.
Buyers can buy churros for £ 7 and four fresh donuts with cream or Nutella for £ 5.

Away from the food stalls, there is a lot to offer for families looking to have a fun day together over Christmas time.
The iconic festive Ferris wheel is back, and kids can go visit Santa and his elves in nearby West Princes Street Gardens.
And the festive ice rink is also reopening for those who want to do some skating.
The Christmas market is open until January 4.
