Although DC no longer sells the rarest Avanti supercars, what isn’t uncommon at DC is the number of custom Toyota Innova minivans. Several Innova owners in India have had their MPVs customized by DC, especially the interior, making the already comfortable Innova even more plush and upscale inside. Here is such a custom Toyota Innova from the house of DC, which landed on the used car market for sale.
In a post posted on the Instagram account of Luxury car Baba, a custom 2013 Toyota Innova DC is up for grabs. It gets a slew of customization work inside, while the MPV’s exterior is tweaked with a few additional visual elements.
Coming to the exterior of this DC Custom Toyota Innova, the MPV is finished in a solid shade of white. At the front, this Innova receives a personalized bumper, while the Toyota logo on the grille is replaced by that of DC. The side profile of this custom Innova receives body-color cladding on the door panels and fenders, additional black-color cladding on the door panels and lower running boards. Out back, the only visual change is the custom rear bumper that gets fake exhaust outlets in the corners. The original Innova headlights and taillights are kept intact in this custom version.
It’s on the outside that this Toyota Innova gets a significant amount of customization. The forward cabin of this Innova gets a new brown and beige two-tone scheme, the only addition here being the TFT screen for the rear camera in place of the interior mirror. The rear cabin, which in the standard version has a second and a third row of seats, has been extensively redesigned and transformed into a luxury lounge.
As part of the modification, the rear seats are replaced by two luxurious reclining seats, which can be electronically controlled using switches placed on the door panels. Even the armrests of these reclining seats get a few extra switches for other controls. The forward and aft cabins of this Innova are separated by a bulkhead, which is finished in a gloss black theme and hosts an LED TV in the middle. This aft cabin gets plenty of faux wood inserts on the door panels, bulkhead and panels above the side armrests.
Along with these changes, this Toyota Innova also gets a custom roof with multiple air vents, ambient lights and map lamps. The roof-mounted AC vents here are different than what the stock version of the Innova usually got.
The owner of this Delhi registered Toyota Innova is asking Rs 7.25 lakh. While that might seem like a steep price for an Innova that’s nearly a decade old, you should know that this isn’t your everyday Innova.
