CARDIFF’S Winter Wonderland returns this winter and “will be bigger and better than ever”.
Spread over two locations in the heart of the city center, visitors will now be able to experience Cardiff’s winter wonderland from the lawns of the Town Hall and Cardiff Castle.
This year, the Château park will host an indoor skating rink and a 150m ice walk.
In addition to the popular fun fair attractions, City Hall Lawns will also offer two bars for 2021 – an Sur La Piste bar with rooftop terrace and a new ice bar.
Visitors will be able to relax (literally) in temperatures as low as -10 degrees.
The famous Ferris wheel will also return to City Hall Lawns, which offers some of the best views in Cardiff.
Cllr Peter Bradbury said: “The Winter Wonderland in Cardiff is an exceptional event for the capital and a favorite of the city’s seasonal festivities.
“The news that 2021 will see Cardiff’s biggest winter wonderland to date, at two of our most iconic locations, is fantastic and means we can accommodate visitors in plenty of space for a safe experience in this first class attraction. ”
