Birthdays are back at Audubon Zoo

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Want to organize a frenzied party? Birthday party room rentals are back at Audubon Zoo. The zoo offers charming private birthday party rooms near the endangered species carousel of the Gottesman family. Visit Audubon website and book a party room today.

“We are delighted to once again offer our guests the opportunity to host their birthday party at the zoo,” said Daine Appleberry, senior vice president of customer services. “This offering has been a favorite with customers for many years, and we are delighted to be able to continue to offer it. Here is your opportunity to do a world of good for your little animal lover and celebrate their special day at the zoo.

Birthday room rentals at Audubon Zoo are available on weekends only from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Audubon members receive 10% off their party rental.

Birthday party packages include:

Party of 30

  • Three hours of a private, temperature-controlled party room
  • Party attendant
  • All day admission to the zoo for 30 people
  • Two pizzas
  • 30 ice cream cups
  • Unlimited lemonade, ice water, plates, napkins, cups and utensils

Group of 40

  • Three hours of a private, temperature-controlled party room
  • Party attendant
  • Entrances to the zoo all day for 40 people

The city of New Orleans requires that anyone aged 12 and over entering indoor exhibits and restaurants at the zoo provide proof of at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine or a result of COVID-19 PCR test negative in the last 72 hours. Face masks are also required at all indoor exhibits and restaurants in the zoo.
