2022 Solano County Fair Competitive Exhibit Registration Extended Through May 27

VALLEJO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The 2022 Solano County Fair has announced that registration for all competitive fair entries has been extended through Friday, May 27 for the next fair to be held June 16-19.

“Good news. Anticipating our first year after two years of digital fair, we have decided to add an additional five days to register your talents,” said Mike Ioakimedes, executive director of the Solano County Fair Association.

He added, “This year’s Fair showcases all aspects of talent across Solano County. Whether it’s art, sewing, quilting, singing, photography, woodworking or more, we are committed to celebrating, in person, the talents of the region. The community is at the heart of the fair, and we want to celebrate the many talents of Solano County, whether it’s food curation or creating a memorable live TikTok challenge!”

As the full fair schedule continues to take shape, visitors can expect a full return (and even more!) to the in-person excitement with the return of the Solano County Fair.

The Ferris wheel will spin and the frying oil will sizzle as Solano County’s summertime treat returns. “Bales of Fun” is the theme for the 2022 Solano County Fair, the 73rd consecutive year that Solano County has celebrated the very special place we all call home.
