Skoda Slavia has been transformed into a baby Octavia RS version in this digital concept from SRK Designs.
SRK Designs has come up with an interesting RS edition of the Skoda Slavia 2022. This version is based on the Octavia RS version which already has a ton of enthusiastic followers. RS indicates the performance version of ordinary cars from the Skoda family. Slavia is the Czech automaker’s latest model for the Indian market with hopes of reviving declining sales. Kushaq and Slavia have been entrusted with the revival process and so far the results have been positive. Let’s discover the digital version of the high-end midsize sedan.

Skoda Slavia RS edition
The video walks us through every detail of the development process. First, the Slavia’s overall height has been lowered significantly to improve the ride and handling characteristics that are the hallmark of a performance saloon. The front has been cosmetically changed with stylish horizontal fog lights instead of the rounded units, a splitter under the front bumper for better aerodynamic efficiency, a blacked out grille, a redesigned bumper, dechroming of the butterfly grille and its replacement with shiny dark matter. The VRS badge has also been inscribed into the grille.

The sides are accentuated by stylish alloy wheels, blacked out windows, a chrome belt running under the windows, a Skoda badge on the fender and the typical sharp creases. The rear section has also been lengthened a bit, which can be seen in the design of the bumper. This Skoda Slavia is designed for enthusiastic driving and excellent handling. One could easily perform high-speed maneuvers in a sedan so designed. That’s what made the Octavia RS sell like hot pancakes in our market.

The regular Skoda Slavia comes with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine that offers 115hp-175Nm, while the larger engine displaces 1.5-litres and produces a segment-leading 150hp-250Nm. It also offers cylinder deactivation technology to optimize fuel consumption. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, but buyers can opt for a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with the 1.0-litre engine or a 7-speed DSG with the mill. 1.5 liters.
